Extralegal. ( adj . ) That it is not legal or is not provided for in a law. An example is the bonuses that a company pays to its employees, and that are not part of the salary, they are said to be "extralegal bonuses" because the company is not obliged to pay such bonus, and does so only to incentivize such employees.
