Meaning of diatribar

Danilo Enrique Noreña Benítez

diatribar
  49

It means criticizing, attacking, insulting, giving a speech, making a perorata, giving a cantaleta. Sing, scold.

It should be "make diatribes", but I don't think it exists; unless someone has made it fashionable, it's a word that doesn't have an everyday use to justify a verb. And less so having so many equivalents for each specific case.

John Rene Plaut

DIATRIBAR issue diatribes, insult or censor someone 2. Issue an oral or written speech in which someone is insulted or censored.
