[cachaña] is an action that demonstrates skill with the body in the domain of a situation. It is widely used to refer to a skilled action of evading the opponent in football, and other sports. It is also used to referise to a majadería or cause discomfort, this meaning comes from the name of a species of parrot endemic to the southern part of Chile and Argentina (Enicognathus ferrugineus), since it walks in large numbers and are very noisy it is called making a spoat to cause fuss or noise. The word does not come from the mapudun as you might think, since it has no meaning in that dialect, this species of parrot is called rawilma in mapudungun.
