Meaning of cursiento

MIGUEL JIMÉNEZ

cursiento
  52

According to the use given by my mother and my maternal grandparents here in my hometown, Guayaquil, Ecuador "cursiento" was commonly said, first, to a person or pet suffering from diarrhea and secondly, to a minor who could not give his opinion in matters of the elderly. Widely used in the 60s and although that term is no longer heard, it is still used in several provinces of the Ecuadorian coast, especially with the first meaning mentioned. Some synonyms, words or similar expressions may be 1 with diarrhea, which has a loose stomach 2 metiche
