Chuquija : In southern Mexico we use this word when we cannot define the smell of an object, we simply say : This chuquija and can refer to a glass, a rag or any object that did not wash well. The origins of this word are found in the Nahualt language "xoquializtli" whose meaning is "sulfur stone stench".
