It is one of the common names of a class of mites, used in Colombia and Panama. They are also called coquito yaya, puca, piojito de cigarra, mojosa, coloradito, isango, baiburín, pinolillo , tlazahuate (which in Nahuatl derives from tlalzáhuatl, which means "scabies of the earth"), plows (in Mexico), chivacoas belong to the Trombiculidae family. They are very similar to ticks but smaller in size.
