It's an Italian language word that means bedroom. It can also mean clique, in the sense of group of erudite people on a subject. In Art, Camerata fiorentina, was a group of musicians, poets, intellectuals and humanists from Florence, who led by Count Giovanni di Bardi, gathered to discuss trends and give guidance especially on art and drama.
