Latin phaseolus ( vulgaris ) and East of the Greek pháselos, plant legume of edible fruit in elongated pods also edible after cooking when they are tender. My perfectly ground thus, called beans, just beans ( fruit and plant ) you need a high stand in irrigated orchards. In Latin America, where it comes from the plant, they also say bean, bean, bean, bean, bean and other modes. In my homeland, the dried beans they call them pinto beans for the multiple hybrids varied colors.
